iTunes playlists disappearing from Podcasts app

So, under 'My Podcasts' there was a field 'iTunes Playlists', where I could access playlists synced across from iTunes on my Mac. This has spontaneously disappeared and nothing I can do will bring int back: quit & restart Podcasts app; Restart iPhone; Hard Reset of iPhone; Erase all content & Setting, restore from iCloud backup from before the problem was there... northing has worked. The only way I want to listen to podcasts is via these playlists synced across from my Mac, and now I can't do that.... any suggestions?
